He is experienced across multiple industries and has been a CIO in three verticals (retail, B2B, and telecom).Klaus was the Chief Digital Officer of HD Supply. He was responsible for the strategic B2B direction, P&L and day-to-day operation of a $2B+ digital channel driving nearly 80% of Business Unit sales. He led organization’s innovation efforts in the areas of advanced analytics (AI, Prescriptive Analytics), eProcurement, mobile, brand positioning and technology automation. He led teams of over 500 associates in marketing, ecommerce, technology, data, and enterprise analytics.Klaus has extensive leadership experience as he was also the CIO and Head of Ecommerce at Alex Lee Company, VP at Rosetta (now Sapient/Razorfish), SVP at REDF Marketing, and CIO at Bellsouth (now AT&T). He also held senior positions at Lowe’s and American Express. Klaus received a B.S. in Corporate Management from Florida Atlantic University, and a M.S. in Quality Management and Technology from Nova Southeastern University.
